For this project, my partner (Savannah Smith) and I created a 10-day unit plan in a 5E lesson plan format for a 2nd grade classroom. For the project, we focused on the Civics & Economics NC Essential Standards for Social Studies. Most of the lesson plans are hands-on activities that can either be done via SmartBoard or by hand, and ideally, we had students go on a field trip on the last day to JA Biztown in Charlotte, NC. The lesson plans can be seen to the right as well as an example product of the foldable we wanted students to create. Enjoy!
