These three resources listed below are fantastic sources that helped me create my classroom management plan. Check them out, and I hope you hold them as close to your heart as I did!

1. Teach4TheHeart "10 Ways to Prevent Discipline Problems" Article: This article had great advice when it came to thinking up some preventative strategies for managing behavior in your classroom. Many of them dealt with communication which is a key aspect in dealing with poor (and good) behavior in the classroom. It is a great source if you are looking for fresh ideas!

2. The First-Year Teacher's Survival Guide by Julia G. Thompson: This book is FILLED with ideas, advice, and stories about dealing with classroom management. This book is definitely a treasure for any new teachers looking for good, solid information from a seasoned teacher.

3. Miss Giraffe's Class "25 Chatty Class Classroom Management Strategies for Overly-Talkative Students" Blog Post: This blog post was very thorough with providing classroom management strategies for every kind of teacher. Are you not a fan of doing attention grabbers? Try the "blurt beans" strategy. Do you not mind singing to your students? Try "The Singing Trick!" There is something for everyone on this post, and it is pretty thorough about how to enact it in your class.
